Mark Wei - General Manager di FA China
Last April, Mark Wei, General Manager of FA China, visited the Group's headquarters for a week.
Mark finally met his colleagues in Montecchio Maggiore and visited the company departments, for the first time in person, being able to discuss organizational and industrial processes.
We asked Mark how he experienced this short but intense period:
"The visit to the headquarters left a deep impression on me. First of all, this visit has strengthened the communication between FA and the headquarters. In the past three years of the epidemic, we have relied more on the Internet rather than face-to-face communication. Secondly, the headquarters' research and development depth of new and current products and the degree of process automation are worth us learning. I can feel the enthusiasm of the headquarters, as well as the support and expectation for the business in China. Hope to maintain closer communication with the headquarters in future work."
Ivan Iurato, Transformation Office & Quality Group Director, explains what the Transformation in Elettra1938 is.
"A little over a year has passed since, with the support of one of the most reliable consultancy firms on the market, the new Industrial Plan of the Elettra1938 Group was developed.
The aim, ambitious and exciting at the same time, was to build a plan that took note of the current global automotive and energy market scenario and that knew how to seize the new and growing opportunities.
It is from this new Industrial Plan that the "Elettra1938 Growth Transformation" project was conceived.
The Project has the ultimate objective of achieving the targets defined by the Plan, such as the significant growth in turnover and volumes, undertaking a path of methodological and cultural development capable of stimulating the potential of our Company to the fullest.
As far as the FZSoNick battery business is concerned, radical cost reduction and production process optimization activities were launched, as well as product development and market analysis. Regarding the business of Fiamm horns, we were able to respond with innovation to the growing demand of the electric mobility market thanks to the development of new AVAS (Advanced Vehicle Alerting System) technological solutions.
To date, more than 40 people are participating in the Project, at various levels and with different roles, with the desire and determination to lay the foundations for the future of our Group.
A special thanks goes to all of them, for the precious results obtained and for those to come."
Ivan Iurato - Transformation Office & Quality Group Director
In this first year in which all the Headquarters offices are gathered at the single location in Montecchio Maggiore, the plant organization has undergone several changes.
After the intensive months associated with the operational organization of the transfer, Matteo Frigo assumed the role of Plant Manager on January 1st.
The Logistics area was strengthened and in February Marta Frigo, Logistics Manager of the plant, joined the team, taking over the role covered ad interim by Giulia Caldana, Group Supply Chain Manager.
Gianmarco Bari - Cybersecurity
In collaboration with the ITS Academy Meccatronico Veneto, an institute specialized in the mechatronics, ICT and Digital areas, it was launched a professional training course, which specifically involved the IT area with the entry and valuable contribution of Gianmarco Bari.
Gianmarco has been dealing with the implementation, reliability and security of software systems for about a year, with a particular focus on Cybersecurity, within a dual apprenticeship project.
This modality allows him to reconcile the attendance of courses at the ITS and the training activity in the company.
We asked Gianmarco how the dual apprenticeship experience is going:
"I joined the IT department in September 2022 in the dual apprenticeship mode. The opportunity for a dual concurrent training, both in school and in the company, immediately thrilled me. So far thanks to the collaboration of well-prepared and always available colleagues, I am working hard with the aim of establishing an effective approach to Cybersecurity within the Elettra group, aimed to the continuous improvement and involvement of all company processes."
These years of collaboration and growth within the Group have led Fiona to assume the role of Human Resources Manager of the Chinese office:
"As a veteran in FA, I am very happy to have the opportunity to take on this new position. In the new job position, meanwhile, I deeply feel the responsibility and pressure on my shoulder. I will conscientiously fulfill the rights granted by the company and spare no effort to complete all tasks. In the future work, I will, as always, do everything possible to do my best work with a strong sense of professionalism and responsibility, constantly improve my ability to work, and use my actual achievements to the company."
We welcome all those who joined the Elettra 1938 Group:

Colleagues are competent and prepared, always willing to listen and clarify any doubts. I hope that this path continues to be exciting for me and that I can contribute to the company growth."
Marta Frigo
Logistics Manager
Elettra 1938 - Italy, Montecchio Maggiore
"In my career, I have been lucky enough to work for various companies, each with different characteristics, but never in 12 years of work experience I have found such a collaborative environment.
Since the first day, the impression was joining a collaborative team at all levels, where kindness and knowledge are the master."

Ilenia Moro
Application Engineering
Elettra 1938 - Italy, Montecchio Maggiore
"I joined Elettra about 4 months ago but I feel like I've been here for a long time!
I found an environment that allowed me to integrate quickly, even though I am well aware that I still have many things to see and learn. I have to thank the availability of the people , in particular who I'm bothering in this first period (sure that I will continue for a while!). One thing that struck me and that I would like to underline is certainly the flexibility granted in the work, which conveys a good feeling of trust and responsibility. I am already facing some initial small challenges, which will contribute to my personal growth and I hope to contribute io the growth of the company."
Carlo Pasetto
Software & Test Electronic Engineer
Elettra 1938 - Italy, Montecchio Maggiore
"From the very beginning, I felt at ease finding an environment of collaboration and mutual support and I'm happy to know that we will join the mechanics in a new R&D office to"team working".
From the induction meetings it seemed to me an attentive company to some things that I have seen neglected or marginal in other companies: it is my first experience in the automotive world and it is a novelty to find a Quality department so present in all company processes, the attention to safety seemed to me to be at a high level, as the attention to the employees needs."
Valentina Franzan
Sales Manager
Elettra 1938 - Italy, Montecchio Maggiore
"I have been working in Elettra for a month and I'm really happy because I have found a team of competent and helpful people who in a short time have already taught me a lot about the company and the products. I hope I can bring a contribution, due to my experience in the Automotive world, especially with small OE, so that more and more opportunities can be realized and give satisfaction to the team and the company. Aftermarket, on the other hand, with its dynamics, speed and focus on the territory, will be my new challenge, which I accept with enthusiasm and determination!"
Alessandro Lucchini
Controller
FZSoNick - Switzerland, Stabio
"I joined FZSoNick for a few months. In the first period of induction, I immediately felt a very stimulating, dynamic and professionally competent environment. My job involves an ever constant and frequent need to interact with multiple company departments, from the first days I have always found competent and very helpful people, both in the Stabio office where I carry out my activity and in the Montecchio Maggiore headquarters which is always able to provide me great support. My first impression is particularly positive, my goal is to integrate myself more and more into the dynamics that compete with me in order to provide a constantly greater contribution to the company by increasing my professionalism and my skills."
Enrico Boesso
Sales Manager
FZSoNick - Italy, Montecchio Maggiore
"The beginning into the company was excellent, I was followed during the training and got to know the different departments: from production to purchasing, passing through the offices that follow the technical part. The relationship with colleagues was immediately very positive, they were available to help me and explain to me the various dynamics, such as the functioning and organization of the company, including me from the start, asking me for opinions based on my previous experiences. My impression is exactly of being part of a company willing to listen to individual employee advice and then put it into practice, thus giving everyone the opportunity to contribute to the company's growth and development. We live in an age where batteries are of crucial importance in our daily lives and I'm sure that with our technology we will be able to achieve surprising results."
Riccardo Barana
Product Application Engineer
FZSoNick - Italy, Montecchio Maggiore
"I am enthusiastic about the work team and the company itself. There is certainly a lot of work to follow and this is very stimulating. People do define the company, so I believe that the company can only continue to grow and get better"
